✧ Two women fasted, and a man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, here are two women who have fasted, and they are about to die of thirst.' He turned away from him or remained silent, then he returned—and I think he said at midday—and said: 'O Prophet of Allah, by Allah, they have died or are about to die.' He said: 'Call them.' They came, and a bowl or a large cup was brought. He said to one of them: 'Vomit.' She vomited pus, blood, ichor, and flesh until she had filled half the bowl. Then he said to the other: 'Vomit.' She vomited pus, blood, ichor, fresh flesh, and other things until she filled the bowl. Then he said: 'These two fasted from what Allah made lawful for them and broke their fast on what Allah [Mighty and Majestic] forbade them. One of them sat with the other, and they began to eat the flesh of people.'
