Translation

✧ Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say... He said, 'I heard him say: Indeed, with the Dajjal, when he emerges, there will be water and fire. What people see as fire is cold water, and what people see as water is a burning fire. Whoever of you encounters that, let him fall into what he sees as fire, for it is sweet, cold water.' Hudhayfah said, 'And I heard him say: A man from those before you was approached by an angel to take his soul. He said to him, "Have you done any good?" He said, "I do not know." It was said to him, "Look." He said, "I do not know anything except that I used to trade with people and be lenient with them; I would give respite to the wealthy and overlook the debts of the poor." So God admitted him to Paradise.' He said, 'And I heard him say: A man was on his deathbed. When he despaired of life, he instructed his family, "When I die, gather much dry wood for me, then kindle a fire in it until it consumes my flesh and reaches my bones and they are burnt. Then take them and scatter them in the sea." They did so, and God gathered him and said to him, "Why did you do that?" He said, "Out of fear of You." So God forgave him.' 'Uqbah b. 'Amr said, 'And I heard him say that, and he was a grave-robber.'
