✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ in the market of Dhu al-Majaz, passing through it, saying: 'O people, say: There is no god but God, and you will succeed.' He said: And Abu Jahl was throwing dust on him and saying: 'O people, do not let this man deceive you about your religion, for he only wants you to abandon your gods and to abandon al-Lat and al-Uzza.' He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ paid no attention to him. He said: We said: 'Describe the Messenger of God ﷺ for us.' He said: 'He was between two red garments, of medium height, fleshy, handsome of face, with intensely black hair, fair with intense fairness, with abundant hair.'
