✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the duration of ease for your ummah? He did not answer him until he had asked three times, each time receiving no reply. Then the man left. Then the Prophet ﷺ said: Where is the questioner? They brought him back, and he said: You have asked me about something no one from my ummah has asked me about. The duration of ease for my ummah is one hundred years — he said it twice or three times. The man said: O Messenger of Allah, is there any sign, mark, or indication of that? He said: Yes, the sinking of the earth, the earthquake, and the sending of clamoring devils upon the people.
