✧ I came to the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was in the shade of the Kaaba. He said: "They are the losers, by the Lord of the Kaaba; they are the losers, by the Lord of the Kaaba." I was seized with distress and began to breathe heavily. He said: I said: This is something bad that has happened to me. He said: I said: Who are they, may my father and mother be your ransom? He said: "The ones with the most wealth, except for one who says regarding the servants of God like this and like this and like this, and such are few. There is no man who dies leaving sheep, camels, or cattle without paying their zakat, except that they will come on the Day of Resurrection as large and fat as they ever were, trampling him with their hooves and goring him with their horns, until judgment is passed among the people, then the first of them will return upon the last of them." And Ibn Numayr said: "Whenever the last of them are exhausted, the first of them return upon him."
