✧ He came back with a group of people with him, and they found a whip. Its owner took it, and they neither ordered him nor forbade him. Then I arrived in Madinah, and Ubayy b. Ka'b met us, so we asked him. He said: I found a hundred dinars at the time of the Prophet ﷺ, [so I asked the Prophet ﷺ] and he said: 'Announce it for a year.' He repeated that to him until he mentioned three years. I said: 'O Messenger of God,' and he said: 'It is your affair with it.'
