✧ We came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was in the shade of the Kaaba, using a cloak of his as a pillow. We said: O Messenger of Allah, call upon Allah [Blessed and Exalted] for us and seek His help. He said: Then his color changed or turned red, and he said: Among those before you, a man would have a pit dug for him, and a saw would be brought and placed on his head and he would be split in two, yet that would not turn him away from his religion. And he would be combed with iron combs, removing the flesh from his bones and sinews, yet that would not turn him away from his religion. By Allah [Blessed and Exalted], this matter will be completed, until a rider travels from Sana'a to Hadramawt fearing nothing but Allah [Exalted] and the wolf for his sheep. But you are impatient.
