✧ A woman from Juhaynah came to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and said to him: 'I have committed a sin deserving a prescribed punishment, so carry it out on me,' while she was pregnant. He ordered that she be treated kindly until she gave birth. When she gave birth, she was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He ordered that her clothes be fastened upon her, then he stoned her. Then he prayed over her. 'Umar said: 'O Prophet of Allah, you pray over her when she has committed adultery?' He said: 'She has repented with a repentance that, if divided among seventy of the people of Madinah, would suffice them. Have you found anything better than her giving herself to Allah [Blessed and Exalted]?'
