✧ A man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque on Friday while Umar b. al-Khattab was addressing the people. Umar said: What time is this? He said: O Commander of the Faithful, I returned from the market and heard the call, so I did no more than perform ablution. Umar said: And ablution too, while you already know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command the full bath.
