حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ

إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يُحَرِّمِ الضَّبَّ، وَلَكِنَّهُ قَذِرَهُ.

Translation

✧ The Prophet of Allah ﷺ did not prohibit the dabb lizard, but he found it distasteful.
