حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ وَمُؤَمَّلٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ يَا زَيْدُ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أُهْدِيَ لَهُ عُضْوُ صَيْدٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ مُؤَمَّلٌ فَرَدَّهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَقَالَ إِنَّا حُرُمٌ ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

✧ A limb of game was gifted to the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was in ihram, and he did not accept it? He said: Yes. Muammal said: The Prophet ﷺ returned it and said: We are in ihram? He said: Yes.
