حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَزْهَرَ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَخَلَّلُ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ مَنْزِلِ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، فَأُتِيَ بِسَكْرَانَ فَأَمَرَ مَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ أَنْ يَضْرِبُوهُ بِمَا كَانَ فِي أَيْدِيهِمْ
Translation

✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ moving among the people on the day of Hunayn, asking about the camp of Khalid b. al-Walid. A drunk man was brought to him, and he ordered those with him to strike him with whatever they had in their hands.
