✧ A Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about the Hawd (cistern), and he mentioned Paradise. Then the Bedouin said: "Does it contain fruit?" He said: "Yes, and in it there is a tree called Tuba." Then he mentioned something I do not know what it was. He said: "Which tree of our land does it resemble?" He said: "It does not resemble anything from the trees of your land." The Prophet ﷺ said: "Have you been to al-Sham?" He said: "No." He said: "It resembles a tree in al-Sham called al-Jawzah (the walnut tree), which grows on a single trunk and its top spreads out." He said: "How large is its base?" He said: "If a young she-camel of your people's camels were to travel around its base, it would not encompass it until its collarbone breaks from old age." He said: "Does it contain grapes?" He said: "Yes." He said: "How large is the cluster?" He said: "A month's journey for the piebald crow, without tiring." He said: "How large is a single grape?" He said: "Did your father ever slaughter a large goat from his sheep?" He said: "Yes." He said: "And he skinned its hide and gave it to your mother, saying: 'Make for us a bucket from it'?" He said: "Yes." The Bedouin said: "Then that single grape would satisfy me and my household?" He said: "Yes, and the majority of your clan."
