حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحُصَيْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ شُفَيٍّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يَقُولُ
خَرَجْتُ أَنَا وَصَاحِبٌ لِي يُسَمَّى أَبَا عَامِرٍ - رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمَعَافِرِ - لِيُصَلِّيَ بِإِيلِيَاءَ وَكَانَ قَاصُّهُمْ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَزْدِ، يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَبُو رَيْحَانَةَ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ، قَالَ أَبُو الْحُصَيْنِ: فَسَبَقَنِي صَاحِبِي إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، ثُمَّ أَدْرَكْتُهُ، فَجَلَسْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ، فَسَأَلَنِي: هَلْ أَدْرَكْتَ قَصَصَ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ ؟ فَقُلْتُ: لَا. فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: عَنْ عَشَرَةٍ: عَنِ الْوَشْرِ، وَالْوَشْمِ، وَالنَّتْفِ، وَعَنْ مُكَامَعَةِ الرَّجُلِ الرَّجُلَ بِغَيْرِ شِعَارٍ، وَمُكَامَعَةِ الْمَرْأَةِ الْمَرْأَةَ بِغَيْرِ شِعَارٍ، وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَ الرَّجُلُ فِي أَسْفَلِ ثِيَابِهِ حَرِيرًا مِثْلَ الْأَعْلَامِ، وَأَنْ يَجْعَلَ عَلَى مَنْكِبَيْهِ مِثْلَ الْأَعَاجِمِ، وَعَنِ النُّهْبَى، وَرُكُوبِ النُّمُورِ، وَلُبُوسِ الْخَاتَمِ إِلَّا لِذِي سُلْطَانٍ

✧ I went out with a companion of mine named Abu 'Amir—a man from Ma'afir—to pray in Ilya'. Their storyteller was a man from Azd called Abu Rayhana, one of the Companions. Abu al-Husayn said: My companion preceded me to the mosque, then I caught up with him and sat beside him. He asked me, 'Did you catch the storytelling of Abu Rayhana?' I said, 'No.' He said: I heard him say: The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade ten things: filing the teeth, tattooing, plucking facial hair, a man lying in intimate contact with a man without a lower garment, a woman lying in intimate contact with a woman without a lower garment, a man putting silk like borders at the bottom of his garments, putting on his shoulders like the non-Arabs, the practice of plunder, riding on leopard skins, and wearing a ring except for one in authority.
