حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنِ الْأَمَةِ تَزْنِي قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحْصَنَ. قَالَ: اجْلِدُوهَا، فَإِنْ عَادَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، فَإِنْ عَادَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، فَإِنْ عَادَتْ فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a slave woman who commits adultery before she is married. He said: Flog her. If she commits adultery again, flog her. If she commits adultery again, flog her. If she commits adultery again, sell her, even for a rope of hair.
