✧ Abu Ubaydah censured a man for something, and Khalid b. al-Walid forbade him, saying: You have angered the commander. Then he went to him and said: I did not intend to anger you, but I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: The most severe punishment on the Day of Resurrection will be for the one who was most severe in punishing people in this world.
