حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ خُفَافٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ خُفَافِ بْنِ إِيمَاءِ بْنِ رَحَضَةَ الْغِفَارِيِّ قَالَ
رَكَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ، فَقَالَ: غِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهَا، وَأَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللهُ، وَعُصَيَّةُ عَصَتِ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ بَنِي لِحْيَانَ، اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ رِعْلًا وَذَكْوَانَ، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ وَوَقَعَ سَاجِدًا. قَالَ خُفَافٌ: فَجُعِلَتْ لَعْنَةُ الْكَفَرَةِ مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ bowed in prayer, then raised his head and said: "Ghifar—may God forgive it; Aslam—may God keep it safe; ‘Usayyah disobeyed God and His Messenger. O God, curse Banu Lihyan. O God, curse Ri‘l and Dhakwan." Then he said the takbir and fell prostrate. Khaffaf said: "Thus the curse upon the disbelievers was made because of that."
