حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ
كَانَ إِذَا غَشِيَ قَرْيَةً بَيَاتًا لَمْ يُغِرْ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ، فَإِنْ سَمِعَ تَأْذِينًا لِلصَّلَاةِ أَمْسَكَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ تَأْذِينًا لِلصَّلَاةِ أَغَارَ
Translation

✧ When he approached a village at night, he would not raid until morning. If he heard the call to prayer, he held back, and if he did not hear the call to prayer, he raided.
