✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ traveled to Khaybar and reached it at night. He said: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came upon a place at night, he would not attack them until morning. If he heard the call to prayer, he would hold back; if they were not praying, he would attack them. He said: When morning came, he mounted and the Muslims mounted. He said: The people of the village went out to their fields with their baskets and hoes. When they saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Muslims, they said: "Muhammad, by Allah, and the army!" He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah is greatest, Allah is greatest. Khaybar is destroyed. When we descend upon the courtyard of a people, evil is the morning of those who were warned." Anas said: I was riding behind Abu Talhah, and my foot was touching the foot of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
