✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ fasted continuously at the end of the month, and some people fasted continuously with him. This reached the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he said: If the month were extended for us, I would continue fasting in such a way that those who go to extremes would give up their extreme practice. I am not like you; I spend the night while my Lord feeds me and gives me drink.
