حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ
سُئِلَ: هَلِ اصْطَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَاتَمًا ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. أَخَّرَ لَيْلَةً [الصَّلَاةَ] صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى فَلَمَّا صَلَّى أَقْبَلَ بِوَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا وَنَامُوا، وَإِنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَزَالُوا فِي صَلَاةٍ مُنْذُ انْتَظَرْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ. قَالَ: فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى وَبِيصِ خَاتَمِهِ
Translation

✧ He was asked: Did the Messenger of God ﷺ have a ring made? He said: Yes. One night he delayed the night prayer until half the night, then prayed. When he had prayed he turned his face to us and said: The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you have been in prayer as long as you have waited for the prayer. He said: It is as if I can see the gleam of his ring.
