Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a phlegm in the direction of the Qibla of the mosque, so he wiped it. Then, he showed extreme discomfort on his face because of that. He said, "Indeed, when a servant stands to pray, he is conversing privately with his Lord between him and the Qibla. So, if one of you spits, let him spit to his left or under his left foot, or do like this." Then, he took a corner of his garment and spat in it, then rubbed some of it with another part.
