✧ When the Prophet ﷺ married Zaynab, Umm Sulaym gave him a dish of barley in a bowl made of stones. Anas said, "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Go and invite anyone you meet.' So, I invited whoever I met, and they started entering and eating until they were satisfied." The Prophet ﷺ then placed his hand on the food, made a supplication, and said, "Whatever Allah wishes to say." Anas continued, "I did not leave anyone whom I met without inviting them, and they all ate until they were full and left." Then, a group of them remained and continued to talk to the Prophet ﷺ, causing him to feel shy to ask them to leave. He eventually left them in the house. Later, Allah revealed the verse: "O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the Prophet except when you are permitted for a meal, without awaiting its readiness. But when you are invited, then enter" (Quran 33:53) until the part: "for your hearts and their hearts" (Quran 33:53).
