حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ

مَا مَسِسْتُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ خَزًّا وَلَا حَرِيرًا أَلْيَنَ مِنْ كَفِّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَلَا شَمَمْتُ رَائِحَةً أَطْيَبَ مِنْ رِيحِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Ibn Abū ʿAdī
  2. Ḥumayd
  3. Anas b. Mālik

✧ I have never touched any silk or brocade softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, nor have I smelled any scent more fragrant than the fragrance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
