حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ

لَا تَحِلُّ الصَّدَقَةُ لِغَنِيٍّ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ جَارٌ فَقِيرٌ، فَيَدْعُوَهُ فَيَأْكُلَ مَعَهُ، أَوْ يَكُونَ ابْنَ سَبِيلٍ أَوْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ.

✧ Charity is not lawful for a rich person, unless he has a poor neighbor and he invites him to eat with him, or he is a wayfarer or in the cause of Allah.
