حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
لَخُلُوفُ فَمِ الصَّائِمِ أَطْيَبُ عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنْ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ، قَالَ: صَامَ هَذَا مِنْ أَجْلِي، وَتَرَكَ شَهْوَتَهُ عَنِ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ مِنْ أَجْلِي، فَالصَّوْمُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ
Translation

✧ The change in the breath of the fasting person is more pleasant to Allah than the scent of musk. He said: 'This one fasted for My sake, and left his desire for food and drink for My sake. Fasting is for Me, and I reward it.'
