حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ وسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ مُسَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْسِمُ شَيْئًا أَقْبَلَ رَجُلٌ فَأَكَبَّ عَلَيْهِ، فَطَعَنَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِعُرْجُونٍ كَانَ مَعَهُ فَجُرِحَ بِوَجْهِهِ. فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: تَعَالَ فَاسْتَقِدْ، قَالَ: قَدْ عَفَوْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was distributing something, a man came and leaned over him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ poked him with a palm stalk he had with him, wounding his face. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: 'Come and take retaliation.' He said: 'I have pardoned, O Messenger of Allah.'
