حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى يَعْنِي الْجُهَنِيَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُزَيْدًا الْعَمِّيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الصِّدِّيقِ النَّاجِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ

يَكُونُ مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْمَهْدِيُّ، فَإِنْ طَالَ عُمْرُهُ أَوْ قَصُرَ عُمْرُهُ عَاشَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ، أَوْ ثَمَانِ سِنِينَ، أَوْ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ، يَمْلَأُ الْأَرْضَ قِسْطًا وَعَدْلًا، وَتُخْرِجُ الْأَرْضُ نَبَاتَهَا، وَتُمْطِرُ السَّمَاءُ قَطْرَهَا.

✧ The Mahdi will be from my nation. If his life is long or short, he will live seven, eight, or nine years. He will fill the earth with equity and justice, the earth will bring forth its vegetation, and the sky will send down its rain.
