حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أُسَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

مَا أَصَابَ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ مَرَضٍ وَلَا وَصَبٍ وَلَا حَزَنٍ، حَتَّى الْهَمَّ يُهِمُّهُ إِلَّا يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ.

✧ No illness, or fatigue, or sorrow befalls a Muslim—even anxiety that troubles him—except that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, expiates some of his sins thereby.
