حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُطَرِّفٌ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَوْفٍ عَنِ سَلِيطِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ بِئْرِ بُضَاعَةَ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، تَوَضَّأُ مِنْهَا وَهِيَ يُلْقَى فِيهَا مَا يُلْقَى مِنَ النَّتْنِ ؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ

✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was performing ablution from the well of Buda'ah, and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you perform ablution from it while filth is thrown into it?' He said: 'Water is not made impure by anything.'
