machine translationAl-Aʿmash narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. ʿAbdullāh b. Idrīs narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī. But Yaḥyā b. ʿĪsā al-Ramlī, ʿAmr b. ʿAbd al-Ghaffār, Muḥammad b. Jābir and Jābir b. Nūḥ differed from him, and narrated it from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise Wuhayb narrated it from Muṣʿab b. Muḥammad, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah. It seems that both are sound (ṣaḥīḥ).
