✧ The bridge will be set up between the two sides of Hell, with hooked thorns like the thorns of the saʿdān plant. Then the people will cross it. Some will be saved and safe, some will be wounded then saved, and some will be held back and thrown headlong into it. When God, Mighty and Majestic, has finished judging between the servants, the believers will miss men who were with them in the world, who prayed as they prayed, gave zakāh as they gave zakāh, fasted as they fasted, performed Hajj as they performed Hajj, and fought as they fought. They will say: "Our Lord, servants of Yours were with us in the world, praying our prayers, giving our zakāh, fasting our fasts, performing our Hajj, and fighting our battles; we do not see them?" He will say: "Go to the Fire, and whoever you find in it among them, bring him out." He said: They will find them, and the Fire had taken hold of them according to the measure of their deeds. Among them are those whom it had taken up to his feet, among them those whom it had taken up to the middle of his legs, among them those whom it had taken up to his knees, among them those whom it had wrapped around his waist, among them those whom it had taken up to his chest, and among them those whom it had taken up to his neck, but it had not covered the faces. So they will extract them from it, and they will be thrown into the water of life. It was said: "O Messenger of God, what is the water of life?" He said: "The washing of the people of Paradise." So they will sprout like the sprouting of a plant. And he said once in it: "As a plant sprouts in the flood debris." Then the prophets will intercede for everyone who bore witness that there is no god but God sincerely, and they will bring them out of it. He said: Then God will turn with His mercy to those in it, and He will not leave in it any servant in whose heart is an atom's weight of faith, but He will bring him out of it.
