حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بِشْرِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ فَرَدَّ الْحَدِيثَ حَتَّى رَدَّهُ إِلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ

ذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: وَمَا ذَاكُمْ ؟ قَالُوا: الرَّجُلُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْمَرْأَةُ تُرْضِعُ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ مِنْهُ، وَالرَّجُلُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْجَارِيَةُ فَيُصِيبُ مِنْهَا وَيَكْرَهُ أَنْ تَحْمِلَ مِنْهُ ؟ فَقَالَ: فَلَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ [لَا] تَفْعَلُوا ذَاكُمْ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الْقَدَرُ

Translation

✧ That was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said: "What is that?" They said: "A man has a wife who is nursing, and he has intercourse with her and dislikes that she becomes pregnant from him; and a man has a slave girl, and he has intercourse with her and dislikes that she becomes pregnant from him." He said: "There is no harm in your not doing that, for it is only the decree."
