✧ Some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were on a journey. They passed by a tribe of the Arabs and asked for hospitality, but they refused to host them. Then a man among them was afflicted in his mind—or was stung. They said to the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: "Is there any healer among you?" A man among them said: "Yes." He went to their companion and recited over him the Opening of the Book, and he was cured. He was given a flock of sheep, but he refused to accept it until he came to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned that to him. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, by the One who sent you with the truth, I did not recite over him except the Opening of the Book." He said: The Prophet ﷺ laughed and said: "How did you know it is a healing?" Then he said: "Take them, and give me a share with you."
