حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ سَأَلَ ابْنُ الْكَوَّا عَلِيًّا
عَنِ الْمَجَرَّةِ قَالَ هُوَ شَرَجُ السَّمَاءِ وَمِنْهَا فُتِحَتِ السَّمَاءُ بِمَاءٍ مُنْهَمِرٍ
Translation

machine translationAl-Ḥumaydī narrated to us, he said: Sufyān narrated to us, from Ibn Abī Ḥusayn and others, from Abū al-Ṭufayl: Ibn al-Kawwāʾ asked ʿAlī
✧ About the Milky Way, he said: “It is the opening of the sky, and from it the sky was opened with pouring water.”
