The rainbow

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ الْمَجَرَّةُ بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ السَّمَاءِ وَأَمَّا قَوْسُ قُزَحٍ فَأَمَانٌ مِنَ الْغَرَقِ بَعْدَ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ
Translation
✧ From Ibn ʿAbbās, he said: “The Milky Way is a gate among the gates of heaven. As for the rainbow, it is a safeguard against drowning after the people of Noah ﷺ.”
