✧ I prayed in the mosque of Banu Ghifar. When I sat down, I started supplicating and pointing with one finger. Khufaf b. Ayma' al-Ghifari entered upon me while I was doing that, and he said: 'What do you intend by pointing with one finger?' He said: I said: 'I am supplicating to Allah and asking Him.' He said: 'How well you have done. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do that.' The polytheists said: 'He only uses it for magic.' The polytheists have lied. Indeed, that is sincerity.
