حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ،
" أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا انْتَهَى إِلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ أَرَادَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنْ يَتَأَخَّرَ، فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " أَنْ مَكَانَكَ، فَصَلَّى، وَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِصَلَاةِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ came to Abd al-Rahman b. Awf while he was leading the people in prayer, Abd al-Rahman wanted to move back, but the Prophet ﷺ gestured to him: "Stay in your place." So he prayed, and the Messenger of God ﷺ prayed following the prayer of Abd al-Rahman.
