حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

" لَأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَحْبُلَهُ ثُمَّ يَأْتِيَ الْجَبَلَ فَيَأْتِيَ بِحُزْمَةٍ مِنْ حَطَبٍ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ، فَيَبِيعَهَا، فَيَسْتَغْنِيَ بِثَمَنِهَا، خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَسْأَلَ النَّاسَ، أَعْطَوْهُ أَوْ مَنَعُوهُ

Translation

✧ That one of you should take his ropes, then go to the mountain and bring a bundle of firewood on his back, then sell it and become self-sufficient with its price, is better for him than asking people, whether they give him or refuse him.
