✧ Shahr b. Hawshab from Abu Hurayrah

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ مَوْلَى الْحُرَقَةِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ السَّاقَيْنِ وَأَسْفَلُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى مَا فَوْقَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ، فَمَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَفِي النَّارِ

Translation

✧ The lower garment of the believer reaches to mid-calf, and the least of that is to above the anklebones. Whatever is below the anklebones is in the Fire.
