حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ أَبِي الْمُسَاوِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَيُحْسِنُ الْوُضُوءَ، ثُمَّ يَمْشِي إِلَى بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللهِ يُصَلِّي فِيهِ صَلَاةً مَكْتُوبَةً، إِلَّا كُتِبَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ حَسَنَةٌ، وَتُمْحَى عَنْهُ بِالْأُخْرَى سَيِّئَةٌ، وَتُرْفَعُ لَهُ بِالْأُخْرَى دَرَجَةٌ

Translation

✧ No Muslim performs ablution and does it well, then walks to one of the houses of Allah and prays an obligatory prayer therein, except that a good deed is written for him for every step, an evil deed is erased from him with another, and with another he is raised a degree.
