حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ سَيْحَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَلْبَسُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي زَوَّجْتُ ابْنَتِي وَإِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ تُعِينَنِي بِشَيْءٍ، قَالَ: مَا عِنْدِي شَيْءٌ، وَلَكِنْ إِذَا كَانَ غَدًا فَائْتِنِي بِقَارُورَةٍ وَاسِعَةِ الرَّأْسِ وَعُودِ شَجَرَةٍ

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have married off my daughter and I would like you to help me with something.' He said, 'I have nothing, but when tomorrow comes, bring me a wide-mouthed bottle and a branch of a tree.'
