✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of God, I have married off my daughter, and I would like you to help me with something. He said: "I have nothing, but come tomorrow and bring me a wide-mouthed bottle and a stick of wood, and the sign between me and you is that I will close the side of the door." He said: So he brought him a wide-mouthed bottle and a stick of wood, and he began wiping the sweat from his forearms until the bottle was full. Then he said: "Take it, and instruct your daughter that when she wants to perfume herself, she should dip this stick into the bottle and perfume herself with it." He said: So when she perfumed herself, the people of Madinah could smell that perfume, and they were called the House of the Perfumed Ones.
