  2. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Your appointed term is but in comparison to the appointed term of the nations that came before you like the time between the afternoon prayer and sunset. Your example and the example of the Jews and Christians is like that of a man who employed workers and said: 'Who will work for me until midday for one qirat?' The Jews worked until midday for one qirat. Then he said: 'Who will work for me from midday until the afternoon prayer for one qirat, one qirat?' The Christians worked. Then he said: 'Who will work from the afternoon prayer until sunset for two qirats, two qirats? Indeed, you are the ones who work from the afternoon prayer until sunset for two qirats, two qirats, so you will have the reward twice.' The Jews and Christians became angry and said: 'We have worked more but received less.' He said: 'Have I wronged you in anything of your due?' They said: 'No.' He said: 'That is My bounty which I give to whomever I will.'
