✧ Indeed, your remaining time compared to the nations before you is like the time between the afternoon prayer and sunset. The people of the Torah were given the Torah and they worked until midday, then they were unable, so they were given a qirat each. Then the people of the Gospel were given the Gospel and they worked until the afternoon prayer, then they were unable, so they were given a qirat each. Then we were given the Quran and we worked until sunset, so we were given two qirats each. The people of the two Books said: 'O our Lord, why did You give these people two qirats each and gave us one qirat each, when we worked more than them?' Allah Almighty said: 'Have I wronged you in any of your wages?' They said: 'No.' He said: 'That is My bounty which I give to whomever I will.'
