حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْقُرَشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ:
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، إِذْ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ يُوَدِّعُهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: انْتَظِرْ أُوَدِّعْكَ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُوَدِّعُنَا: أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ دِينَكَ، وَأَمَانَتَكَ، وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ
Translation

✧ I was with Abdullah b. Umar when a man came to bid him farewell. Ibn Umar said to him: Wait so that I may bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to bid us farewell: I entrust to Allah your religion, your trust, and the final outcome of your deeds.
