حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَطَرٌ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ:

سَافَرْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمَعَ عُمَرَ، فَكَانَا لَا يَزِيدَانِ عَلَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَكُنَّا ضُلَّالًا فَهَدَانَا اللهُ، فَبِهِ نَقْتَدِي

Translation

✧ I traveled with the Prophet ﷺ and with Umar, and they would not exceed two rak'ahs. We had been astray and Allah guided us, so we follow him.
