حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
مَنِ اشْتَرَى نَخْلًا بَعْدَمَا أُبِّرَتْ فَلَمْ يَشْتَرِطْ ثَمَرَتَهَا، فَلَا شَيْءَ لَهُ، وَمَنِ اشْتَرَى عَبْدًا فَلَمْ يَشْتَرِطْ مَالَهُ، فَلَا شَيْءَ لَهُ
Translation

✧ Whoever buys palm trees after they have been pollinated and does not stipulate their fruit, he has nothing. And whoever buys a slave and does not stipulate his property, he has nothing.
