✧ When the people withdrew from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Uhud, I looked among the slain but did not see the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I said, 'By Allah, he would not flee, and I do not see him among the slain, but I think Allah became angry with us for what we did and raised up His Prophet ﷺ. There is no good in me unless I fight until I am killed.' So I broke the sheath of my sword, then charged at the people, and they parted for me, and there was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ among them.
