✧ He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, when Ramadan had begun: 'If the servants knew what is in Ramadan, my community would wish that Ramadan lasted the whole year.' A man from Khuza'ah said, 'Tell us about it.' He said: 'Paradise is adorned for Ramadan from the beginning of the year to the next, until when the first day of Ramadan comes, a wind blows from beneath the Throne and rustles the leaves of Paradise. The houris with wide eyes look at that and say, "O Lord, grant us husbands from Your servants in this month, so that our eyes may be delighted with them and their eyes may be delighted with us."' He said: 'There is no servant who fasts Ramadan except that he is married to a wife from the houris with wide eyes in a pavilion of hollow pearl, as God has described: "Houris, restrained in pavilions." For each woman among them are seventy garments, no garment of them being the color of another. She is given seventy types of perfume, no type of them having the scent of another. For each woman among them are seventy couches of red ruby studded with pearls. On each couch are seventy beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and above the seventy beds are seventy sofas. For each woman among them are seventy thousand serving girls for her needs and seventy thousand serving boys. With each serving boy is a plate of gold containing a type of food whose last morsel one finds a pleasure that he does not find in its first. Her husband is given the like of that on a couch of red ruby, upon which are two bracelets of gold studded with red ruby. This is for every day that he fasted in Ramadan, apart from the good deeds he did.'
